Georgia W Tush is a star jammer and blocker for Canada’s top team and Montreal Roller Derby’s all-star team, New Skids on the Block. The founder of Montreal Roller Derby, she lives and breathes roller derby 24/7, and is also the owner of Neon Skates, a derby shop in Montreal and Ottawa.

Smack Daddy

The New Skids on the Block’s star pivot, Smack Daddy was MVP at the inaugural Blood and Thunder World Cup. Known for her dedication to the sport – “obsessed” in her own words – she has been an athlete all her life, and has found her true home with modern roller derby.

Apocalipstick

A former pairs skater and competitor at the 1995 World Figure Skating Championships, Apocalipstick is one of the most glamorous players on the track. Trading blades for wheels, she distinguished herself as a powerful jammer for the New Skids on the Block for a couple of seasons. Now retired from the track, she is Assistant Coach for the team.

Iron Wench

A star jammer for the New Skids on the Block, Iron Wench brings a carefree and natural athleticism to the sport. Her fluid footwork has earned comparisons to immortal hockey players like Sidney Crosby and Wayne Gretzky. Now retired from the track, she will always be remembered as The Great One.

Trash ‘N Smash

One of the founding members of Montreal Roller Derby and a formidable blocker, Trash ‘N Smash found her calling as a roller derby player. With no athletic background, she has become the true heart of the New Skids on the Block, and serves as an inspiration for many new players.

Plastik Patrik

Plastik Patrik

Plastik Patrik is the official announcer for Montreal’s New Skids on the Block and the WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby Association). Equally flamboyant on and off the track, he is also a talented DJ, as well as the lead singer/songwriter for Patrik et les Brutes, whose music is featured in Derby Crazy Love.

Suzy Hotrod

A powerhouse jammer with New York’s Gotham Girls Roller Derby, the top team in the world, Suzy Hotrod’s star turn in the ESPN Body Issue highlighted her as a true superstar of the sport. A former member of New York punk bands, Lady Unluck and Kissy Kamikaze (the latter featured in the soundtrack for Derby Crazy Love) she remains true to her rock n’ roll roots.

Bonnie Thunders

Dubbed the “Lebron James of women’s flat track roller derby”, Bonnie Thunders is an all-star jammer and phenomenal scoring machine with top team New York’s Gotham Girls Roller Derby. Moving through the pack with ease, she manages to rack up the points while making this demanding sport look effortless.

A star jammer for The London Rollergirls (who are both kindred spirit and nemesis for The New Skids on the Block), Kamikaze Kitten is known for her extraordinary footwork and tireless performance on the track. Disciplined and focused, she is a powerful role model for many players.

A formidable blocker with London Rollergirls, Raw Heidi is known for her infectious enthusiasm on and off the track. A true team player, she is a force to be reckoned with, and a natural goodwill ambassador for the sport.

She also co-directed the critically acclaimed series Punch Like a Girl.
